Am not allowed to cancell the worst internet sevice ever

I mistakenly chose verizon for my high speed dsl internet service and this is what i got.

1. a scam on the router that admittedly by a verizon customer service person told me was that they are able to disengage routers to impress people to buy their own.

2. repeated loss of dial tone and repeated misleading information as to what the same problem is over and over again. they also tried to charge us for fixing the problem they kept causing.

3. 2 days of calls to cancel my internet, about 4 hang up with customer service reps, all of whom are not "authorized" to cancel accounts and waive fee's they they tried to charge for their ridiculously bad service.

someone needs to do something about how Verizon is conducting their service. it's got to be illegal to traumatize and cause mental anguish to customers with their repeated fraudulent claims and terrible service.

Please send this to your Attorney General in your state (Consumer Affairs) You will get results. You can now do this online or regular mail or calling. Just do it. They are the ones that can force Verizon to correct the problems. Just send them the same letter you posted here. This is what everyone has to do. Post here first and at VerizonPathetic to show the public what Verizon is about and than contact the Attorney General to force Verizon to fix the problem.

1st, your big mistake was to choose Verizon for your IP. DSL SUCKS unless you are close to the central office within about 18,000 ft as the cable runs and NOT a straight line. And even within 18kf it still sucks because their facilities are old and worn. I know I work for them as a tech. I don't even have verizon for internet.....go figure.
Also, they DO NOT......repeat DO NOT care for their customers. Best I can tell you is to get out of dodge and switch to your cable provider.
