146 - 411 calls in 4 days

There are 146 calls to 411 on my bill. Verizon refuses to remove the charges and basically called me a liar by saying "THOSE CALLS WERE MADE FROM YOUR PHONE."
The refuse to even have a civil conversation about how impossible this is. The calls also took place within a 4 day period during a massive snow storm and power outages in our neighborhood.

How can I get everyone FIRED!

I would consider writing a polite letter about the experience and send it off to Consumerist.com.

This site seems to be watched by corporations.

Hmmmm Power outage huh? By any chance is your home phone a cordless? If so you know it won't work without AC power. And are ALL your phone numbers stored in that phone??? Sounds to me that you had to use 411 a lot. I wouldn't believe you either. Pay the bill.....

Dear "a verizon employee": what a moron you are. How can they call on their phone during a storm? I am sure you like to go on here and read people's problems and you do it with a defensive stance, but next time READ the statement's facts first before jumping to conclusions and making your company look even worse by calling them a liar.

we have stationary home phone, no cordless phone, and verizon kept charging directory assistance calls we have never made . It took me more then 2 hrs. for two times for them to very reluctantly reverse the charges, It happen this month again and I am so tired of calling them again and is trying to seek a permanent sdolution. My english is not good and amd not good at computer, google verizon directory assistance and find your post.

They are charging me for these calls too, at first I thought it was my mom because we share a phone, but after checking the call history on all the phones on our plan, I do not see one 411 call. Verizon is charging people money for things they do not use, and I think I remember hearing about this in the news. I am going to do the early termination and pay the B.S. $350 fee and switch to boost mobile. Verizon, Child Please!!
