Challenge to Ivan Seidenburg

This is a challenge to Ivan Seidenburg to have a member of his staff to appear on the "Undercover Boss" TV Show. This would make you fully aware that Verizon is a dysfunctional corporation with little hope of improving. He will see the mismanagement, convoluted processes to provide customer service, poorly functioning software, poor morale and the degrading customer service. On a positive note he will see many dedicated employees who want to return to a positive work environment and improve our customer's expectations.

We purchase an IPhone 4 at what is being called an "authorized Reseller" in our hometown of Rockingham...We are in Leesburg VA traveling for vacation and are experiencing problems with our new phone.

We stopped at a localVerizon store where they were going to exchange the the phone till they determined it had been purchased at an Authorized Reseller..they said they would not replace the phone and we could go to the nearest Apple store which would have been over an hour out of the way.

I called Verizon Wireless and was told the store could not do anything to help me. I asked for a supervisor who explained it was policy from upper management that allowed the store to decide to change or not exchange the phone.

We are small business owners and pay Verizon a great deal of money and have been customers for a very long time...I am shocked at how little my long term loyalty means to Verizon.WE NEED A PHONE TODAY not next week... My wife is in the middle of negotiating over $1 million worth of real estate deals which would mean Approximately $30k to our income and she cannot do this without her phone....

The supervisor also said this was not the first time this has happened, WHY has Verizon not addressed this issue??? WHY is Verizon not putting its customers ABOVE internal policies and control issues.

I need a phone NOW ARE YOU GOING TO HELP ME?????
