I live in the Tampa area and ordered Verizon service, Of course, the first estimate was not correct. I called and they gave me a $40 credit. I agreed and they never showed to install the service. I called back to reschedule they put me on hold for 45 mins and they did not offer the same deal since it expired. I cancelled the service and they never gave me my phone number back. I will stay with BRIGHTHOUSE!

Your experience mirrors mine very well.

I have been told multiple times that they will correct my bill, and issue a refund of $x to my credit card. They don't. In my experience it takes 2-3 calls (at 20-40 mins per call) for them to actually issue the correction they promised in the first phone call.

The takaway:
Always check your credit card to make sure Verizon did what it said it would do. Do NOT take their word for it.
