50 + yrs. phone bill payments on time

We have history of never exceeding minutes with cell phones, but recently received bill over $330.with no caller identification. Reluctantly pd.this and account in full and discontinued service June, 2010. However, we continue to receive bills, continous automated phone calls, despite reminding them of discontinued service and pd. in full. Who can stop this company from dishonest billing and harrassment?

That's what I want to know. They have salespeople making false promises over the phone. Is there a class action suit?

Your bills have chronological dates. Bring them into a store and bring your receipt showing the disconnect. You should still have a final bill for the days you were in the current bill cycle when you disconnected.

I work customer service. This was an older post but oh well. Verizon bills a month in advance. You may have paid in full for june, but you'd still receive a final bill for july. Normally there may be prorated credits included on the revised final bill. It's hard to say because I don't know what your bill cycle dates were.
