A positive Verizon experience

I have had mostly excellent service from Verizon. The techs have supported me well and quickly when I have had to call - 4 times in total. Once when the power cord on my FIOS router went bad, once when I first got my mobile phone and couldn't figure something out, once to replace the FIOS "cable" after a contractor cut it, and once during the upgrade to FROYO on the android. So I don't think the experience is uniformally bad. Sure we get some bad experiences but I am happy with customer service - rates as advertised, etc.

The place where I do kick myself, however, was in not doing a thorough enough set of research. I didn't realize that my Incredible would not work overseas. Incompatible technology :-(. Also I did not realize that Skype was not available when wi-fi connected. So from that perspective I am not enjoying my Verzion Wireless experiences.
