Canceled the one bill, sent payments and now stuck in a closed account!

I am so disgusted with verizon. I have verizon fios and wireless services, both came on this "One Bill" which is supposed to make life easier. At times I would receive a ridiculous amount due for overages I was not suppose to be charged for (data charges + voice charges). I would call the wireless department and receive a bogus credit that the One Bill department would not approve. I got so fed up with this i canceled the verizon One Bill and decided to get two separate bills from each of the services. This was done two months ago (October). So since i canceled the One bill. I received two more One bills and paid both in full. One for $348, Other for $384. For the last two days I am getting messages on my wireless saying a payment hasn't been received sine 9/22/10. I verified with the bank that both of my checks mailed were received and cashed. The first check was cashed on 10/2, the second was cashed on 11/4. So I called verizon wireless who told me they hadn't received a payment since the 22nd and transfered me to the One Bill Department. The one bill department claims they can not review my records since I canceled the bill months ago. I explained how both checks have been received and cashed but not applied to either my fios or wireless services. All they were concerned with was me making a new payment for the balance of $405. I am refusing to pay anything till I find out what happened to the $700+ they cashed already. I was told from the one bill department that there offices are closed until Monday of next week (yet the representative I was speaking with was from the same department). So I will call back on Monday in hopes to resolve this insane issue. If not resolved I will seek out a lawyer who can help me.
