Service downgraded - then disconnected before requested date

I've got an email from Verizon two weeks ago that my service has been "changed" as per my request. After that I noticed a drop in the speed of my internet connection. I called CS and I told them that I haven't requested any changes to my plan. They told me nothing has changed. I asked why the email and why is internet so slow now. They told me because of my new plan.... so it's been changed I replied; they told me no bathing changed.....

So finally after I don't know how many calls I have no option but to cancel and disconnect and find a different internet provider. I called and I requested a cancellation by the end of the month. They disconnected me in 48 hours.... I called them to ask why... it was a mistake I was told. Please fix it I replied. No way to fix it without you creating a new account from scratch they answered.... so I am trying to change providers and they are old me I have to set up my account again!!!! By Verizon; I hope NOT to see you again in my life
