Unblievable

My husband are on vacation in Sarasota from Ohio. We just arrive. This afternoon I pulled my Verizon phone from my purse to check my messages. The phone was dead, even though I'd fully charged it earlier. I didn't bring my camera for this trip because I usually use my phone. We stopped at the Verizon store on Tamiami Trail one our way to dinner. Forgetting it was Sunday, we stopped into a Verizon Store. The customer service rep (Elvis) was very rude. He wouldn't turn off the VERY LOUD fan that was drying out some obvious wet flooring and ask, "What do you want." I explained to him (yelling to be heard) that my phone had died and I needed a new one. After looking at his watch no less than 3 times he led me over to a desk, talking over his shoulder. I couldn't hear him. After asking my pin number twice, I gave up, took the phone from him and told him I'd go elsewhere. He said I wouldn't get any service at 7 p.m. on Sunday. I told him it was O.K. I'd wait - and go elsewhere. What a jerk.

You\'re the jerk, Verizon is a terrible company but he\'s right what do you expect? It\'s your job to make sure your battery is in working order before going on a trip, that\'s not anyone\'s fault but your own. You sound like a rich bitch who husband pays for everything and expects everyone in the store to bow down when you show up five minutes before closing on a sunday. The guy was just being honest with you which is rare from verizon employees or management or advertising etc. Buy your own equipment upfront so you know its good and you don\'t have to get nailed into a contract with companies like Verizon.

Verizon sucks. That\'s why I don\'t have any of their products or services. Not worth all the bs. Now that tmobile bought nationwide 600mhz spectrum there\'s absolutely no reason to use Verizon once the spectrum gets freed and used. Adios Verizon.
