the billing never ends

Stopped service in October 2017 switched to t-mobile. The bills keep coming even after speaking to financial services (Rosetta btw) and now the bills are doubling every month.

I spoke with my bank and the customer svc rep at th bank replied \"Verizon is a reputable company - I\'ve had their service for 20 years so I hope nothing like this ever happens to me.\" Really? I want to stop a payments from my checking account and Union bank in San Diego gives this response? What ever happened to customer service? Without customers the business goes away? Verizon doesn\'t understand this concept? Airlines, healthcare, the big dogs get it.Verizon is losing market share to t-mobile YAY!

If everyone who disagreed with their Verizon bill refused to pay it, Verizon would go under in a day. They couldn\'t send EVERYONE to collections. But don\'t expect that ever to happen. After all, no one really needs a cell phone, anyway. It wasn\'t very long ago that most people waited until they got home from work and made their calls from a landline (which used to be just called a phone). They did without voice mail and answering machines as well. And how can anyone enjoy doing things like watching movies on a teeny weeny screen? People have been sold on a technology they absolutely do not need.

Sue in San Diego, the solution to your problem is to close your checking account at Union Bank and to open a checking account at another bank. Union Bank can\'t stop you from withdrawing the balance from your checking account and Verizon won\'t be able to transfer the autopay to a checking account at another bank.
