I am I have been a Verizon customer since 2004, never asked for a billing adjustment or an early upgrade. I called them today to see about cancelling my contract b/c I am only 10 months in this one and I HATE my Droid so much I never even use the phone. I called Verizon and the sales representative told me he would allow me to early upgrade, at no penalty, give me one-month's credit and a new iPhone, which would put me out of pocket at about $110.00. I placed the order and they told me to expect an e-mail that afternoon with a tracking number and to expect delivery on Thursday. I was blown away. Then they called me two hours later to tell me that they were withdrawing the offer and was "sorry" a sales representative offered me something they could not provide me with. So just like that, they absolutely destroyed any future relationship I would have with them.

Verizon agents have little or no authority and must seek approval by superiors for almost every transaction. Worst company ever!!!!!
