Charged without activating new phone service... Sales rep. LIE...

I set up a family plan over the phone.
I specifically asked when the bill would start! The sales rep told me when I activated the phones the billing cycle would start.
So, I was waiting for the end of the month to close my account with T-mobile.
Today I received a Verizon bill for $218.00 for a service I never activated and I never used!!!
This is sales rep flat out lies in addition to Verizon dishonesty.
Customer service did not solve the problem. Supervisor is supposed to call back. If they don't call me back I will return the phones.
Does someone knows if I will be charged if I return the phones before 14 days have passed?

Actually if 14 days pass, you will not get a refund...u are stuck with those phones....its like when you go to a store and you have 30 days...same with Verizon...after 14 days, you are screwed in the A$$ big time...

Join the band wagon....cause Verizon sucks so bad....the sad part is, they will be around for a long time...but the happy part for me is that I wont be subjected to their mental beatdowns with these dam crazy bills and tactics....I will pay a company a 100.00 a month for one signal than to pay Verizon 100.00 for full bars...If you are nice to me, then im nice to u....simple concept....

I was under the 14 day deadline, so I was able to cancel everything. Thank you. What a relief.
