Verizon Liers.

I've been a Verizon smartphone customer for ages, so you know I pay a lot each month. I even purchased Asurion insurance for $6.99/m, no, make that $7.99/mo, so that I could get a replacement of my phone if it was lost, stolen, etc.

Well a button is broken, so I went to my local store, and they said the would replace the phone. The deductible is $99, but the phone, a Palm Pre, is worth about $60. I was not happy. The rep Andrew gave me this line about the phone being worth $600 so I was getting a good deal by getting a replacement for only $99.

Not happy with him, I left and called Verizon customer service, and got the same line. I could not believe it. I am now ISO a new carrier, because this is the second time I feel Verizon (and now their partner in crime Asurion) have been only after the money in my pocket.

first off you should learn how to spell, you fucking idiot. Verizon has nothing to do with the deductible asurion charges you for filing a claim with them. Your phone probably was around 600 dollars at full retail. The only reason you got it at 60 is because you got it at a discounted price for signing an agreement. So yeah, the 99 dollar deductible sounds like a pretty good deal to me, but some people are just ungrateful.

Just so you have a heads up verizon is not the only company that uses asurion for the insurance... And maybe you should actually read documents before you just sign them.
