They Really Suck

I own a business and had Verizon for my phone and internet. I took over the contract of the previous owner. One day an outside sales rep comes in and says he can save me money on my bill. He reviewed my bills and did confirm that he could save me money. I said OK sign me up. What he proposed was I was going to sign up for an extra line and a "solutions bundle package" to save a total of $70 off my bill every month. So that day I signed a new contract. "Great" I thought....boy was I wrong. I never ever did get the extra line or any savings. The next bill I get is more than my previous. So I call and got a couple credits but no explanations. Next month, my bill is more again. I call and get some credits but no explanations. Next month again and next month again. So after the fifth month that the bill is more I call and switch to Time Warner. I never do get any explainations other than being told "something got messed up with the installation and billing." So then I get my "final bill" and there is a $225 termination fee on there. I call up and ask why. I am told because there was a three year term on my contract but the thing is they were basing that on my original contract, NOT the new one I signed. I asked what happened to the new contract and I was told it was cancelled. Not by me it wasnt and they couldnt tell me who did. So I end up talking to a manager after waiting two weeks for a phone call back. She is outright arguing with me that all charges were valid. I offered to pay my bill that day without the cancellation fee. She said no all charges were valid. We then hung up. Two weeks later I get another bill and I thought that was funny because I already had a "final bill." So I try to call and four times in a row I am transferred to different #'s and then after waiting on hold the line is cut off. No one would talk to me. Then a month later I get another bill. I call and I do talk to someone this time. They tell me that the charges are for my internet service. I explained to them that I switched my service nearley two monthe ago. Now mind you, Time Warner took care of everything, including contacting Verizon to make the switch. So Verizon tells me that I was supposed to call to cancel the internet. So I asked "what about a month ago when I was arguing with a manager about switching my account to Time Warner?" That manager knew darn well that I switched my entire service over! Verizon rep said I dont know what you talked about with the manager but all the charges are valid. We hung up. Not two days later I get a call from "Bill at Verizon." I call back and it is a COLLECTION AGENCY! They sent me to collections after two months while the whole time I am trying to call and get it straightened out. Well guess what...I will NEVER pay them now. My lawyer laughed. He said he will defend me for free if they ever do decide to sue me. So Verizon can fuck off. Not to mention that I will cost them much, much more than my bill ever was because I tell everyone my story. I already stopped one person from going with them and I dont plan on stopping...ever. Fuck you Verizon!
