As bad as Comcast

My television suddenly stopped working properly. I could only get about 10 random stations with no apparent connection between them. There were instructions on the screen and I followed them but nothing happened. So I called Verizon and got into their hellish phone tree. Thye have become pretty clever and preventing customers from reaching a human quickly. After literally 15 minutes (I timed it) of going through various steps with their robo-service, I was finally put through to a human. She asked me for my 10 digit phone number. For some reason, this wording threw me off. I realize now that all she wanted my phone number with area code first but at the time, I stumbled and said I didn't understand what she was asking for. She gave a little exasperated sound and, mid-sentence, returned me to the phone tree. That's Verizon customer service, that's how much they value the customers who pay their bills.

I never have an issue calling Comcast. There's prompts you need to choose for almost every business now a days. It's pretty straigtforward: billing, tech support, and other service including disco..
