no wonder workers are striking

Don't know what kind of operation they're running, but if I worked there I'd probably want to go on strike too.

In the past 3 days, two techs visited but left without even calling us to let us know they were here. They left without doing anything. Called Verizon 13+ times. Problems solved: 0. Hung up on: 5. Person said he'd call back but did not: 2. Persons who were either misinformed or lied to me: 3. Persons who were unable to solve the problem and did not know what to do, just told me to call back later: 1. This is just the past 3 days.

It has been 3 weeks since originally ordered service. It has never worked.

The service was ordered over the phone. Our address was not in the system, but the sales person assured us that it would work. This was our fatal mistake. We confirmed the address at the end of the initial phone call. It was correct. The modem was mailed to the correct address. We confirmed the address again after initially calling tech support.

Found out 2 days ago that the 2nd tech went to the wrong address. Called and got them to confirm the correct address, which they did (after multiple tweets and telephone calls). The third tech AGAIN went to the wrong address.

Total time wasted waiting for Verizon on the phone or for the tech: 30 hours

Congratulations! You also win the t-shirt! Phone tree hell, mis-informed reps, lying csr's forced to sell you "something" and the list is endless. They (V-zon hell) ripped me off for a $70 dollar termination fee bill and the bad attitude I put up with from business unit csr's trying to convince them otherwise, I hope they use that money for toilet paper!
