Broken contract

In July 2010 I started a new "two year contract" with Verizon and for more then a year I have called them reapeatedly, e-mailed them, for them to stick to the contract. They increased the bill. Do not acknowledge their letter with contract info. They even, during one of the calls told me I did not have a contract. Really... I was told that I would have to pay a penalty if I would break the contract. Well, they broke it several times, different ways. Do I charge them a penalty, you bet. I even contacted Public Utility Commission and they were told by Verizon that I did not pay this years June bill until July. I have a statement that shows I paid on June 13th. So, THEY LIED. PUC is useless. I want to take Verizon to Small Claims Court, where they are not allowed to bring in one of their attorneys, just a representative. It will cost them much more money then admitting they made a mistake. All of the people who work for them are trained to lie to the customers. I truly wish their arrogance would mean the end of Verizon. They should be shut down. Every person I've talked with who also have Verizon, have bothing byt problems. Please, how can we stop them. Bombarding them with calls and letters? HELP They made me out to be a liar and I promise I won't go away until this is fixed!!!

I would take a copy of your contract to the PUC and send to Verizon as well. You do have a copy?

Thanks for the response. Yes I do have the original letter, on Verizon's own paper with their logo on it. They lied and PUC will know about it. Also thinking of sending copies to FTC and BBB.

dumb ass your may bill would be due in june... probably the 13th payment applied...your june bill would be due in july... your july bill would be due in august.......

Do you call all ministers little lady, you are the kind of people who are causing unrest in this world. You hate women. Bad experience with your mother guys? Who needs people like Osama, when we have people like you. Get a grip....
I paid on the 13th and I gave that info, duh. It was due on the 19th, Verizon said I did not pay. Besides your hatred for people, learn how to read. You will never have a loving relationship because you don't know how to support people. People with your kind of bad attitude don't have to die to go to hell, you are already living in it. You thrive on visiting websites and vent your anger. I wish all of you ignorant ones all the best. You need it. Must have had bad relationship with parents. How sad.

Hey Ron, loving person you are. You are the one stirring the pot sticking your nose where it does not belong. Knowing nothing about anything. It was on MY bank statement not their statement. Go bother your family and learn how to be kind to people and respect them. Better yet anger management classes would be good for you.
