They have refused to cancel my service...

So i called to cancel our terrible service and they charged an early termination fee and never canceled the service they continue to bill us and I have called 5 times and waited on hold 45 mins each and have gotten no where with every person i'm transferred too. Each time the representative has hung up on me pretty much because they don't know what to do. I just want my service cancelled as I haven't been using it for 2 months. I finally sent a letter detailing everything with copies of my bills to the address on the bill and demanded that someone that can take care of the problem call me directly bc i'm not wasting anymore time on hold

WOW!! They actually did the same thing to me. I called to cancel a phone line & they told me that at the time they could not cancel. It would cancel out my next cycle, no problem with me. My billing cycle ends on the 14th of the month so I figured I would wait until the 17th of the month to be sure the phone was off (the phone was packed in storage cause we were moving). So i take my blackberry out and realize I could still make calls. Call Verizon & guess what, the REP NEVER cancelled out the phone. I was furious! Called Verizon to get it resolved, guess what, another big whammmy...i had to wait until the NEXT billing cycle now. This means they would get two payments out of me because it will still show up on your bill. I called them cancelled all three lines, paid the early termination fee & told them to kiss my ass. They had the nerve to ask me was I going to another phone company, I said you damn straight. Offered me all kinds of shit, free phones and all. Told them to take those phones & shove it...Now 4 of my family members are leaving them. So they lost a total of 9 phones (counting my family who is leaving them as well) in a span of 2 weeks. I even offered to pay the cancellation fee for one of my cousins...
