Cell Phone HELL

Ok My story. I am not a verizon customer but i am a sister of verizon customer or should i say a verizon prisoner via contract for two years. Her phone died, to save money she was given a current version used phone from a family member(most of our family use Verizon). She needed to transfer her data from her old phone to new phone and activate new used version phone on her current acct. The greeter of the store could not get a service clerk to assist with the customer support needs. After several moments of rude silence a service rep offered to take the job. He diagnosed the problem, then advised the phone could not be activated because it would not charge and wanted her to purchase a new phone. She politely listened to the offer of all the new phones on her credit service. she decided that she need to wait and review her options. TO her surprise, she was able to charge the phone in the car on the way home and activate the acct herself with out making any purchases. In these hard economic times I would never become a customer of an organization that would train their customer service personnel to take advantage of it's hard working,paying,loyal customers. The family is now shopping for a loyal carrier.
