02/26/12 | 1:27AM | Screw 'em.......go to your CATV provider. faster speeds and less troubles. Trust me. I'm a former Verizon employee and I don't have DSL (Damn Slow Line) Former Vz manager - Verizon H8er ID: 51EA9D | 02/26/12 | 16:15PM | ExVzmanager is correct. DSL=darn slow line.
If you are paying for service make them deliver. Phone in a trouble report anytime you have trouble. Start noting times and ticket numbers they give you. Ask for credit if trouble in VZ cable or equipment. Sounds like your copper wire DSL line has trouble somewhere. Intermitent trouble is frequently a sign of something getting wet and drying out or wire about to break/go open. This also means phone in while you are experiencing the trouble because the company will get a better test and/or idea of what and where the problem is.
Verizon and other cry baby bells do not care about their copper wire network which they have let go for decades at this point. But if they are going to sell you a service using that copper they should be able to produce.
Give them one last chance. If no results go the state utility regulators then the Federal Communications Commission.
Good LuckAnonymous - Verizon H8er ID: E4EDC6 | 02/29/12 | 19:25PM | you are correct they are trying to get you to fios dsl unfortunately is to costly for verizon Anonymous - Verizon H8er ID: 7018B7 |
