3 no-shows in a row and counting....

I called on or about 2/16 to have someone come out to install another phone jack and cable jack (we are changing bedrooms in the house). I was told that I was scheduled for Thursday 2/23 between 8 & 5. I sat home all day- 9 hours- and no one called or came by. I called that night and after being on hold and speaking to several different people for about 40 minutes, I was told the queue for chat was getting longer instead of shorter (?), and they would call me back when they got to chat. I never got a call back.

I called again Friday morning the 24th and on another 30+ minute call finally found someone who scheduled me for the installation between 1 & 5 that afternoon. I sat home for four hours and no one called or showed. I called Friday night, another 45 minutes on hold etc., and finally once again was promised a return call because of the chat queue issue. Never got a call.

I called again Saturday morning 2/25 and after another ½ hour was again told she’d call me back. Lo and behold, she called me back after ~ 45 minutes and said the problem was a ‘System Error’ and my order never got through to the field service. She promised to comp the $55 fee but couldn’t get anyone over until next week. She promised to call back after she ‘logged off’ at 5 but never called.

I called on Monday 2/27 and after another 40 minute call was told I was scheduled for 8-12 Wednesday 2/29.

I sat home for four hours on Wednesday 2/29. Nobody showed up or called (yes, each time they verified my correct number). I called at 12:10 and after another 43 minute call was promised that someone would call me back because the infamous ‘chat’ link queue. No one ever called me back.

It is now Thursday 3/1 and I have been on the phone for 30 minutes so far and don’t believe that anyone has any clue as to WTF is going on. Still on hold…

That makes 3 appointment no-shows (waiting at home for 17 hours), making 7 calls totaling more than 3 & ½ hours (not including the initial order), with four promises that they would call me back and never did.
