Verizon Sucks shit

Can anyone tell me how you get a human on the phone?? It takes fucking forever and then when you finally do they have no clue what the hell they are doing. Its like monkeys are running this company, I feel like that commercial when the guy calls for his credit card and gets some guy in Siberia. Why on Earth would anyone want to be treated like this by their cust service??

Actually, I think that guy from Siberia is now from India when it comes to Verizon :)

Actually, out of the 50 or so verizon department only one them is based out of the US, and not even the whole department is.

Funny story though, I had a co-worker (here in the US) who got a customer who insisted my co-worker was in India, and was told by his supervisor to say he was from the US, and my co-worker couldn't convince him differently.

As for the op, I think it likely the rep understood the issue better then you, but you thought you understood it better then the rep.

Correction: All of Verizon call centers are based in the U.S. You may have spoken with someone with an accent, but i assure you, they were in America. Verizon does outsource, but only to U.S.-based companies.

And just keep hitting zero.it works everytime. Also valling in the evenings there's less traffic.

I was told while on the phone by the person I thought was Indian THAT HE WAS IN THE PHILLIPINES! Until the Phillip[ines becomes a state, all call centers may be based in the US, but not all calls are answered in the US.

Verizon sucks so bad. The customer service reps. just follow a script sheet when asking questions. I was having a problem with internet access for months and verison insisted that there was no problem. I finally cancelled the service because I was not getting the service I was paying for. Now they are sending me a final bill including early termination fees. They say that I did not inform them of the problem. Verison wants me to pay for service I was not getting. I told them to send some one over to proove to them there is no internet access, but they won't.Now they are calling and sending me notices to collect. They are making this about me insted of looking into thier faults. They suck!!!

I worked at Verizon and have family high.up in corporate. All call centers are in US, also, its super easy to get a rep unless you can't understand.English or Spanish

I've been calling for weeks to troubleshoot a DSL connection problem. Customer service is from everywhere BUT the U.S. They're very nice people but reading from a script. I repeat the same story from the beginning each time and 45 minutes later, no solution. I don't think the problem is so much that the call centers are out-sourced to other countries, but moreso that Verizon just doesn't give a crap. It's like all large corporations, the lower employees just want their paychecks and don't care about the company future or reputation, and the higher-ups just want to stay long enought to get their millions and get out. Thanks for letting me vent! I feel better!

VERIZON SUCKS!!!!! AND THEY CAN NEVER JUST GIVE YOU A SIMPLE YES OR NO ANSWER < THEY ALWAYS HAVE TO PUT YOU ON HOLD AND THEY ASK SO MANY ?"S THEY TIRE YOU OUT AND YOU JUST WANT TO GET OFF THE PHONE WITH THEM ASAP
