Unethical and Immoral

In January of 2011 I ordered a USB modem for wireless internet over the phone. Within a week of receiving the device and considering the $80+ a month fee, I returned it. I subsequently purchased two android global 2 phones and added an additional line for my grandmother. The androids were drastic upgrades from what we had. This all took place in a matter of two weeks. At this point, I had 4 phone lines and two data packs with verizon. My bill averaged $280-$300 a month. I didn't think much of it considering the additional line and the data packs I was now paying for. Fast forward to January 2012. I go to a verizon store because of many, many problems with my droids. It is then that I discover, for the past year verizon has been charging me $80+ a month for the USB device I returned. They had records of the return and they even gave me the name of the person who now has the device. After 45 minutes on the phone with customer service, explaining the situation, they agreed to refund me $980. I was told I would be credited within 48 hours. After 4 days, I got a call saying "we're still working on it" and we'll call you as soon as it's credited. A week goes by and nothing. Even though I have the name and badge number of the person I initially spoke to, I was "unable" to speak with her again. I had to start the process over. The next agent again told me that I would be credited within 48 hours. GUESS WHAT HAPPENED. Nothing. Another few days go by. I call and have to explain the situation to yet another "agent". Apology after apology, she tells me she is submitting it (b/c apparently the last two were lost) and that I should have resolution within 48 hours. GUESS WHAT HAPPENED. Nothing. 4th agent, 1 month later... tells me they will give me $240. This is after 3 agents told me I would receive the $980 they charged me. Verizon MUST BE STOPPED. They are a criminal gangster'like organization preying on millions.
