Husband flown to hospital had stroke verizon.

my husband had a stroke in his sleep. on august the 31 2011.and was flown to another hospial two hours from the town we live in.they were not sure if he would live.our phones were the only link too me and the hospital.verizon removed payment from our bank. well due to the stroke my husband had not made a deposit.. when I realized this i called verizon and explained the situation and that I was with my husband at the hospital. and told them I would make the deposit when I came home the next day,the check was not showing at my bank yet, I asked her to please not disconnect my phone. it was my only link to the doctors and the hospital.and I was driving back and forth every day,and I did catch the mistake before it was disconected. she assured me they would not do that. well the payment hit the bank and the money was not in there. but I did get home and get it in there that afternoon. verizon took that payment and did not shut it off. I thought oh my gosh I am so glad I caught that mistake,two days later I woke up and my phone was disconected, my husband still in coma, I knew if somthing happened they could not reach me. so I dialed verizon they informed me they shut the phones off becouse of the first check did not go trough, so I explained the whole thing again, and told them you got the payment so whats the problem. they told me they applied it to the next months bill that was not even due yet...I was so mad got a supervisior on the phone told her my husband could die I needed the phone on. it was a mix up at the bank.. they put me on hold. for 1 hour and 45 min. all this time I was so scared my husbands doctors could not reach me.so my daughter came home and I used her phone. too call them they answered in two min. I was so upset. when I got another supervisor on the phone. they made me give them the other payment. my bill is always very high due too I have three business phones. I had too give them a total of 1200. half of that was not even due yet.for a mistake I caught and called them about before it even happened.and they assured me they would help me.I have been with verizon 7 years. but they have always lied too me they tell me one thing. the next month its another. well my husband is better God was with us... this was months ago now that my husband is well and I think about this I get very angry, and wish there was something I could do, is there?

you didnt deserve that . no one does, I dont care how big your company is. I would demand somthing be done about that
