They robbed my mom

Just want to let EVERYONE know that Verizon Wireless is a money grubbing company that could care less about you…especially if you’re an elderly woman barely making end meet living on Social Security. VERIZON WIRELESS SUCKS!!!!!!!!!! Their customer service SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!! They sweet talked my mom into buying 4G Hot Spot promising her that it would work in her area and now she is being told that she resides in a dead zone…..WHAT???? Verizon Wireless can’t get a signal EVERY WHERE……NOT!!!!!!!! This makes me so angry, you promise service; you take over $200 from someone that barely has enough money to live on, but do you give damn….NO!!!! I am going to tell EVERYONE I know…I am going to post everywhere and anywhere, you should be ashamed of taking money from the elderly. VERIZON WIRELESS SUCKS!!!!!!!!!! VERIZON WIRELESS SUCKS!!!!!!!!!! VERIZON WIRELESS SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!

First of all, I'm sorry to hear about your mom, and I really want to help her. If she's still within her 14-day worry-free guarantee, she can return the device and get the money for the device back as well as having the contract reversed. There is the $35 restocking which you *might* be able to get reversed, depending on who you speak with. The activation fee rarely gets credited back, but you can try since the rep dropped the ball by not checking the area.

If she is outside the first 14 days, she needs to call and have tge device troubleshooted. I know you've probably done thos, but go ahead and do it again. You want to be transferred to tier two of tech.one there, they can send someone to varify you are in bad signal area. Once it is documented, they will credit back any ETF. It must be documented,so if you want to help your mom, do these steps regardless of how angry you are and Verizon will credit back ETF and you can work with the rep for any other credits applied to the account. You might not get all monies back, but sell the device and youshould come out more or less even.
