You have to pay for what you are not getting

My DVR started deleting within a couple of hours every program I recorded. After waiting you know how long to speak to someone I was told that this was a known software issue that was going to be fixed in my state in maybe two weeks or maybe who knows. He could not give me a fixed date. So I asked to speak to customer service who told me that they do not give any credits for DVR's that don't work--how convenient--and there was nothing that I could do about it.
