Chronology of my dealings with Verizon Called customer rep to ask about my retiree discount to which he replied he knew nothing about it he referred me to second rep who also knows nothing he in turn hands me over to third rep who says yes he knows of my discount and wants to know if I’m ready to sign up that night. I told him I first want to compare rates with AT&T at this point he hangs up on me!
Go into local Verizon store and I ask manager about my discount and he says he may be able to get discount but I have to sign up first and it may take 3 or 4 billing cycles. I’m not singing up with I may get discount.
Then Thursday night I’m ready to purchase phone, accessories and plan when I chat with Kim C. who tells me no FedEx delivery on Saturday even though it’s on their website for $19.99 by 12 PM.
I want to contact the State Attorney’s Office here in Tennessee on Monday to find out how Verizon can advertise on their web site Saturday delivery when that option isn’t actually possible doesn’t sound legal to me.
