Horrific Customrer Service & Switch & Bait Pricing Scheme

In the past day I have had the worst customer service experience at the Verizon store in Annapolis Harbor Center. I went in this morning to purchase a new phone after my 2 yr. contract expired. I was told the phone would be $299 by a Verizon sale rep, they could transfer the data from my Palm Treo, and it would only be a few minutes of my time. After two hour long visits to the store, hoards of misinformation from the sales reps, three calls to the tech support line, an hour of my own online researching and buying software to simply transfer my Palm data to a Windows phone, my husband was charged the full phone price of $399 when he went to pick up the phone. I was extremely mislead about the price, no one at the store could figure out how to transfer my data, and there were many more customer service foul-ups. These actions have caused me to lose trust in Verizon.
