Shitty Customer Service

Unbelievableā€¦I was just on the phone with Verizon customer service rep about my wireless service and how I wanted to upgrade my phone. I was on the phone for almost a half hour discussing my contract etc. I was told on the phone from that customer service representative that I could now upgrade my phone and my wife could then transfer her phone to my old one. I told him I think rather than send phones etc I should just go into a Verizon store to take care of the transfers, he agreed. So I hung up the phone and my wife and I drove over to the Verizon store at 6856 Katella Ave Cypress, CA 90630. When we walked in there were at least 3 sales guys standing around talking when I explained to the first guy what I wanted, he then points to another sales guy Armondo who was about 2 feet from me but too busy talking to his buddy so I got to explain what I wanted again. Armondo proceeded to tell us that we were out of luck that we could not upgrade until tomorrow. Tomorrow? Meaning I was one day shy of my contract ending. What really ticks me off about this is that I was just on the phone with a different customer service representative who said I could do it today, I take the time to drive to a store and now I need to come back one day later. This is really shitty service!!!!!! I mean really I am going to drop $250 on a phone upgrade, add more service to my already $200 per month bill and the sales person can not take care of me today and has to ask me to come back. This is bullshit. Verizon just doesn't get it. Consumers don't want to be treated like this.
