Bait and switch..

I will be cancelling my Verizon service. Phone kept shutting off. Took it to Verizon store. Tech inspected it and said I had insurance replacement coverage at no charge. He said they would send me a replacement, and to return my defective phone, which I did. The other day, I received an email stating that there was water damage to the phone and I was being charged $100. Called Verizon, was transferred 4 times, spoke to several reps who said they would not redact it from my bill. They sent me back to the Verizon store where I was met with denial and shitty service. Nice bait and switch. If I don't pay the fee, it goes to collections. Way to lose a long time customer Verizon. Maybe the NSA will pick up the tab, but I am going elsewhere!
