Circuit down and they won't send anyone out

I CAN'T STAND Verizon!!!!! Their hardware crapped out at my remote office so I called to tell them they need to send a tech on-site to fix it. Do you think they would??? Nope!!! They want to run "tests" for a couple hours! I told them no way and that I needed someone onsite ASAP. They refuse!

Keep after them. Demand a refund/credit for time out service. Report them to the Better Business Bureau if it an on site problem. They sold defective product that they cannot or will not repair.

Their initial tests said the problem was on your premises? Maybe they got a bad test in the outside plant sent someone to fix that. Either way they should be keeping you informed and in service.
