Sorry. That is our policy.

My daughter had a stroke and we were told she was not expected to live. In the drama of driving 6 hours to spend what we thought would be the last minutes of her life with her and trying to contact relatives we ran over our minutes. I called them and explained our situation and they changed my plan from 700 to 1400 minutes over the phone. It wasn't long before we used up 1600 minutes. A friend suggested we use friends and family for all the doctor and hospital calls. I was in awe. Why was that not suggested by the person extending our minutes? Later after my daughter recovered and was doing rehab learning to walk and talk again I needed a way to cut back on expenses. I cut back to 700 minutes not knowing that this would take away the friends and family. We ran over our minutes again. I contacted them and explained the situation and they agreed that it was a bad deal. Even though it was a bad deal we were forced to pay the overage charges. They have no heart and are just a big money making machine. My daughter has recovered and Verizon kept the few hundred extra they charged.

The icing on the cake was when they had me fill out a satisfaction survey. It lead to many calls from them wanting to resolve the problem to my satisfaction. Each person had to hear the story over again and none of them had the power to do anything. I was just hassled by them over and over. I finally told them to stop calling me. What a joke.
