Rediculous Policy and Awful Customer Service

Went to buy my upgrade online since I had a promo code.
Online store shutdown before I even got to paying.
Called to order it that way, went fine.
Realized I was never asked for promo codes after mentioning it earlier on in the conversation.
Called back to correct situation, answer no.
Explanation 'You should have ordered it online if you wanted to use promo codes.'

I am going to call back to give them a second chance but its just pathetic
