All Verizon Employees Should Be Placed In Jail

In short, I have to prepare myself when I have to call Verizon customer service. They are the best at doing a shitty job.

You have no idea...as a current employee I must say that the reason your service sucks is that WE GET LITTLE OR NO TRAINING....the training we do receive is SALES TRAINING. The company has given us unattainable sales quotas. We are monitored with every key stroke, timed on every call. We are disciplined if we go over the allotted time per call. Our jobs are threatened. Trust me when i say, the employees WANT to help...we just cant because of the limits put on us. Sorry :(

Ill have to agree with this current employee, I can definately tell none of the employees have ANY clue as to solve any problem you call them with and that they get NO training. Still after a 4 hour wait on the phone a customer service rep still gets more done than their website that doesnt register changes or payments half the fucking time.

That's one of the main reasons I left VZW. As a tech, I was required to sell. If I didn't offer an upgrade or accessory, I could fail a call. I began to wonder why I was even providing tech support. When they started pushing sales, I left.
