Your phone still under warranty died, here you go a replacement - oh but it's not new

My 6 week old phone dies. Dies - no explanation, no cause determined. After an hour at the store they agree to ship me a new phone. This on on a Thursday, now it's Monday and I am anxiously awaiting my new phone. Package arrives, so excited - until wait it's a refurbished model! What 6 weeks old and all I am entitled to is a used phone. 2 hours in the store, 1 hour on the phone with 3 supervisors and all they will do is credit 5 days of service when my phone was dead. So the crappy phone they sold me - too bad, if you want a phone it's this used one or nothing...sucks ,

Same thing happened to me. Brand new phone stops working and they replace it with a refurbished phone. I paid for a NEW phone. It was not MY fault they sold me a defective phone. Why should I have to accept a USED replacement when I paid for NEW. It didn't even have the exact some features. I liked the features on the NEW phone I purchased, not the used one. Used phone still even had some info from previous customer. This is just one of at least a dozen horrible experiences I've had with Verizon.
