Defective device

I returned a defective iPhone over a month ago and am being charged for the device. They are billing me $549.99 for a device I returned to a corporate store. Their suggestion is that I go to the store get the phone and ship it to their warehouse. I told them I would not and that it is a corporate store and not in my possession and that it is fraud to charge me for a device I do not have. They will not remove the charge.

I am so sorry. Cut your losses and move on if you possibly have a choice. Even if you had paid the costly "warranty"--their contracts are for two years but they only "guarantee" the required equipment for one year -- bizarre but true. They also charge you hundreds of dollars if they find that anything wrong with the phone that was caused by your mistreatment of it!!! Even with you paying hundreds for warranty on the phone!!
Big corporations buy out little companies and it's matrix time!!!!

I do hope you have a choice -- they are the only ones who can provide service to us here. It's called a monopoly -- and we can too easily imagine the world if this crap is not halted.
