Verizon sucks!

Cancelled my landline wanting to save money. No one told me that a recording could be placed on my old line advising callers of my new #. Days later a neighbor suggested the recording, so I called Verizon and was told..."you have to do that when you cancel your phone" I asked, "doesn't a customer service rep offer that to you?" no response other than..."that can only be done when service was cancelled" I HATE, HATE, HATE VERIZON! the monopoly monsters!
