Charged for bad Installation!

Over Christmas I bought a tv as gift for my wife and installed it in the bedroom. The installer came to put in the box and said he tested it, but he didn't the box didn't work and it ruined my surprise Christmas gift to my wife! I tried to get the installer back for a week but they never came. I spent hours on the phone and emailing. So a week after Christmas I ran another line myself and called the incompetents on the phone three times to activate it. The worst part isI emailed Verizon twenty times and called them and the installation company and I received no refund for the installation fee from Verizon.
