All this, just for Internet?.. and Im still not conndcted? wtf?

It all started on friday 5/16/14. I called to establish a new internet connection here at the new residence I moved in to. Man how do I start this shitty service story... well I called to get the internet for 53.99 which is a fucking rape price on its own. Holy shit, almost 60 bucks just for Internet? Gotta be kidding me.. anyway, I called and talked to a rep and they made me wait for an address varification, which took 2 days. Now its monday. I called too late to check on the status of the varification cuz normal people like us have to work. So I had to call on tuesday. I call on tuesday just to see when the tech will be here. I find out that my service tech wont be here until friday. Thats too long for me, a week for internet? C'mon.. so I argue with the rep to make it for a sooner date. Cool so I get it for wednesday. Awesome! Is what I thought. When wednesday came by, I called just to see what time the tech would be here. The rep on the phone tells me that they wont be here until friday. Wtf. So I ask the rep why? But the rep, of course, cant do shit about it. I asked to speak a supervisor but I was on hold with the rep for about 30 min, yes the rep, no music or anything, just to be informed that they couldnt do anything about the install date. And this rep was located in the phillipines. Goes to show ya THEY SUCK BALLS IN THE PHILLIPINES as far as being a csr there. Customer Service Rep. I ultimately hung up and called back praying to get a rwp in the states. I got one but they could only change the dat to Thursday. Fine.. I waited for thursday. The tech came out thursday and he came in, tested my phone jack and told me another tech would be coming to install my router. WHY??? I asked the tech if he had a router, he said no. I asked when the other tech would be coming, he said I dont know. So then I sent his lazy ass on his way. I was super upset. I called verishit after the tech left just to look out my window and find this lazy mother fucker just chillin outside my front window with his leg out his window. I was talking to the rep on the phone and she said that the tech was supposed to install my router. The rep on the phone with me actually tried to make contact with the tech at my home on his work phone about 5 times, but this fucking lazy ass peice of shit didnt answer at all. The rep actually stayed on the line with me for about 2 hours to get my situation setteled. So I do give my hat off to her. She was actually pretty nice. As I was on the phone with the same nice rep, a ups guy comes to my door and drops off a package. A small package. I open it, and all I find, is the manuel to install a router. Hahaha. I couldnt help but to laugh and scratch my head. These fuckers sent me a manuel to install a verizon router that I dont even have. Wow. So unprofessional. Not to mention, I was on the phone with the rep when the ups guy came lol. I told her what the ups guy dropped off and she was in disbelief. The rep ultimately tried everything she could to get me a router or tech to my home that same day but no luck. She stated that her own co workers at different departments were giving her crap about helping me out. Fuck that. Unfortunately she couldnt do anyrhing but to delay the install dat until saturday. Which is unbeleivable. I thought it was a joke being played on me. I cant beleive im going through all this shit just for internet. Its fucking rediculous. I dont know if these people even have customer service ethics. How hard is it to bring a router? Ive been so pissed off, its ridiculous. Fuck these people and this company. It should rot in HELL. now I have to wait til tomorrow. We shall see how that goes. I could only hope to have internet access tomorrow.

Drop them if you can if not retain and collect hard copies of all bills and receipts and check your bill monthly they love to add charges and hope you don't notice. They won't refund anything ever unless you spend to sue. :-( goodluck but if you can get another provider I'd cut my losses now it'll save you money in the end I promise!!!!

Use your cable provider fot internet if you can. It's more money but but much better service. And faster.
DSL SUCKS........... I retired from Verizon DSL stands for "Digital Subscriber Line" and we used to call DSL ...damn slow line...

I first got their internet service in March. It's now June and about 3 weeks ago I started having problems connecting. The first time I called the tech support guy had me re-load my settings back into the router and everything was good. Two days later I could not connect again. This time had some female indian who kept me on the phone for 1.5 hours just doing the same thing as the other guy...reloading the settings. Next day same problem. Called and got her again. This time she tells me to leave the router on for 3 days and they would run periodically tests on my line and call me on Sunday. Sunday came and went and no call. On Monday I called threatening to terminate my service. They ran another test and this time said there is a problem with my line. We set up an appointment for Friday (my day off) for a tech to come to the house. I started receiving text messages on Wednesday saying they were coming out then. On Thursday they sent another text saying it was fixed and closed my ticket for Friday. When I got home I still had problems connecting. I called and demanded them to keep the appointment I set up for Friday and they refused. I asked to be transferred to the disconnection service department and they hung up on me. At that point I reported them to the Department of Public Utilities.
