Terrible service at Verison

So I have my home phone and DSL with verizon. I changed my service to just local calling and DSL. It was a 39.99 package. I called last month to sign up for automatic bill pay, thinking i wanted to simply my life. while on the phone, the woman said, "oh, for no charge i can upgrade you dsl service to a faster mode". I said, ok, as long as there is no charge for this upgrade. She said, oh no! no charge. I am going to give this to you at no charge. She lied. I proceeded to have my bill go from $51.02 a month to 112.15. I was furious. They charged me. She lied. Then they gave me the runaround at customer service when i tried to get this straightened out. you know the drill...endless robatons on the other end who don't care or give a rats crap. they just want to sell you more and increase your bill. finally after 3-4 tries, i calmed down and spoke to someone who agreed to refund my entire 112.25 so that it wasn't tied up all month and make me wait a month to get my money back. (i was furous. this was wrong.) Now i may cancel my auto pay because i can't have them over charging me every month and me fighting on the phone trying to get my money back. This company has gone to the dogs. Terrible.
