VERIZON WIRELESS DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU!!

I have had VERIZON WIRELESS for going on over 10 years. I went to a VERIZON store in my town to ask about my phone over heating when I use it for more than ten min at a time. The very helpful young woman held my phone and agreed is was ridiculously hot. SHE called customer service for me and told them my problem. SHE and CUSTOMER SERVICE offered a FREE replacement under warranty. Today I get a call saying I now OWE VERIZON $300 for the damaged phone. VERIZON WIRELESS will not take care of you after the sale. I had NOTHING to do with the offer made to me by both the employee of verizon wireless or the person on the other end of the phone that offered my FREE replacement phone. I NEVER ASKED FOR A REPLACEMENT!! I only had a concern about the phone heating up. After reports in the news about phones burning people and exploding I dont think it was something I should have ignored. After numerous calls verizons customer service offer was one of three things. Number one: Pay the $300. Number Two: return the phone they sent me and buy my own phone off ebay or internet. Number Three: sign up for another two years and get a $100 phone to replace the one i have and still send my "new" phone back. Why would i sign up again for another two years with a company that wont take care of me?! I have NEVER had one claim or ever been late on my bill. I will never recommend VERIZON WIRELESS to anyone ever again. They have the "BIG BUSINESS" mentality and obviously good paying, honest customers are not what they want or need! DO NOT SIGN UP WITH VERIZON WIRELESS!!

As a call center employee it is a CLNR replacement yes the replacement is free but you have to return the device in question that is malfunctioning....the fact that you were too idiotic to ingnore the text messages the emails and other correspondence that is automatically sent to you is not verizons fault and you can say that you never got those messages...when I know that is a lie you sound like just another whiny customer who didn't want to follow the rules or were too idiotic to follow them
