Data Usage: where did it go?

Every other month I get the dreaded 75% data usages just before the cycle is over. I had to increase it slowly because of the threat of $15/GB if I didnt increase my data. I am now at 10 GB and have no idea what I did different.

I have had this problem with them before with my voice minutes. Until finally I said to give me unlimited. I swear something isnt right and the customer service keeps saying its you and now its the holidays so you must use it more. I told them I dont celebrate holidays and I dont change what I do and said maybe my number was cloned but they made it look like I was the one with mental problems and I keep seeing on the news how different companies are cheating people and Im starting to think they are as well.

I hope the FCC catches verizon cheating people out of their money and sues the pants off of them.

since you have gone to unlimited, have you been able to check how much data has actually been used? Sorry about the conspiracy theory here but I will guarantee that your usage has gone down. Magically since you now are paying extra, event though your actual usage didn't change, they will show you using less. I can't put it right but you probably get my drift. the same thing happened to me with texting. They kept claiming I was going over until they pretty much bullied me into getting unlimited texting. Now that I have unlimited I don't put a dent in it. Just another way for them to suck us dry.

They have done the same to me. Started with the minutes used in days of old. Never went over(not even close) my minutes, month after month, then all of a sudden I get a $400 bill. Itemized billing has me talking to three people at the same time for an hour. I never put people on hold(call waiting), and have/had no idea how to use the three way call crap. When telling the service rep about this issue, I was essentially called a liar. Nowadays its the data overages....same shit, nothing to be done....Attica! Burn Baby! Burn!

we are just spending 3 to 4 hours a day several times a month begging the customer service to get out overage in data down to $400! seriously yiou got lucky! OUR PLAN IS $160 A MONTH FOR 2 LINES THEN ALL OF THE SUDDEN OUR DECEMBER BILL WAS FREAKING $1370.00!!!! LITERALLY! THEY SAID IT WAS ON ONE OF THE PHONES ONLY. THE AGENT IN THE VERIZON STORE EVEN TOLD ME IT WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE TO HAVE USED THAT MUCH DATA. IT WOULD HAVE TO BE 24/7 NON STOP FOR A MONTH SOLID!!! LIKE I DIDNT SLEEP OR WORK ALL DAY JUST DATA! DATA!DATA! SO THEY THEY TELL ME EVERY MONTH IT WILL BE CREDITED AND OVER AND OVER I AM DEALING WITH THEM CUTTING OFF THE PHONES THEN THEY SAY WE ARE FIXING IT THEN PHONES GET TURNED BACK ON MONTH AFTER MONTH FINCE JANUARY. IM IN VERIZON HELL!
