Verizon is horrible.

Paid my bill on time. Verizon cashed my check. Received next months statement showing a past due balance of the exact amount of my previous check. Called Verizon, they put in a "tops request" and said 24 hours will call me back. No phone call. I called them the next day and they said the tops request was denied as the check was not cashed out of my account. I argued that I had proof and the customer service rep said they'd check into it and get back to me within 24 hours. Once again, no phone call. 3rd time I called was told that if the previous rep was checking into it there was nothing this rep could do.

Called my bank and got a copy of the transaction showing my check was cashed. Called back for the 4th time with this information. Representative filled out a 2nd tops request and was told she'd call me back with the results within 48 hours. I was told I should send another payment for the amount "overdue" to avoid my phone being shut off while they are trying to sort this out. Are you kidding me??? No, wont do that. It has now been 3 days later and no phone call. Taking my printed proof from the bank and trying an actual Verizon store instead.

Unbelievable, I have been a customer for 12 years with them. This will be my last contract with them.
