DID NOT RECEIVE EQUIPMENT???

After a 3 month attack on me via bills, bills and more bills that made no sense (after closing our account) and returning all of our equipment, I just received a bill for $2713 from a collection agency. The most ironic part is, we had a $65 credit which Verizon sent us a check for! Amazing. Now we owe them and if we do not reproduce the shipping information that accompanied the boxes (what?) then we are out of luck. We clearly owe them nothing and i have spent 14 hours to date on this item. I have no idea what to do next. I'm contacting a local news agency to see if they can help do an investigative report. Any suggestions from any others who have been bent over by this horrible business? HELP! I have lost sleep over this and cried when I got a bill from collections. They are ruining my perfect credit!

unfortunately once it has been referred to a collection agency, that agency is the only company you can deal with. Don't waste your time contacting Verizon because they are going to refer you write back to that agency. Eventually it might end up back at Verizon but for now again don't waste your time. You may want to try contacting ups to see if they can track it for you but without a tracking code, they may not be able to. I sympathize with your plightand I wish I had a better answer for you.
