Verizon has shit policies

My family of 5 has been a verizon customer for almost 10 years. Over the years their customer service has been getting worse and worse, now this is my last contract with them. Here is why:

When I finally joined the world and got a smart phone they helped us find a data plan telling us we could change it. So we started with a 6 gig plan, seemed a little pricy but we just got the phones and weren't sure how much data we would need. 2 months later we realized we didn't need or use nearly that much data and one of the people on the plan was moving out of country so we needed even less data. However Verizon still refuses to change the data plan saying their policy is they don't change data plans during the contract. They said we'd have to wait 2 years to change it and until then we have to deal with only using 5-10% of our data cap. Really Verizon? You just lost 5 customers over that shit and I hope you lose a lot more

No this is absolutely not true. The data amount can definitely be changed within the 2 year contract. I wish I could help you as I work for Verizon but there's no way I'm going to post any contact info here. All I can say is you need to go into a corporate store (not a retailer) and request the change. They will change it.

Log in to your online account and change it. You can change your plan whenever you like and read the small print at your leisure.
