One decade of service then this bullshit

As stated, I have been with Verizon for ten years. Two under my moms contract then as soon as I turned 18 I switched to my own. As soon as I joined the military I put in my info for the employer discount. Aside from the couple times my phone got lost or stolen (now that I think of it I always had to upgrade/downgrade depending if they still had my phones in stock, which they never did) I was perfectly happy with my service. It's the only one that works on all the bases I've been stationed on. Yet two or so years ago I got an edge program with the then brand new galaxy s5. Turned out to be a bad deal as the guy basically took off with the phone leaving me with the monthly payments AND the bill for a line I didn't need. When their promotion came around offering $300 to new customers switching to Verizon I called several times asking if they could use this promotion for me (an 8year customer needing out of only that contract) which would keep me happily paying for my THREE other lines. No dice. Yet i still paid for these and never late. Then it comes time to renew my employment discount a few months ago and I sent in all the paperwork which took them three months to accept and now I have no discount the past two months and then because I was on orders out of state (in the middle of nowhere with no comp. access where I couldn't suspend my home line that I obviously didn't need while I'm gone) my account became past due. By TWO months and they shut off my service! I came home trying to rectify this and again no dice. Called several times about the discount, once saying they'd credit the difference ($5 IS NOT the difference between 5 and 15%) the next call I was for some reason sent to financial services who when I explained that I needed the proper amount discounted in order to be current with the bill, got MAJOR attitude (even with my bad attitude following this I still thanked her) and said she would transfer me to customer service put me on hold briefly then came back and HUNG UP on me!!! And I cannot pay this online for some reason nor can I get through to a representative when I try to call. I tried to send an email about "Katie" from financial department to the head of customer service and surprise, surprise it would not go through.
No matter the seeming benefits I can't see myself sticking with Verizon. I'm waiting on another company to pay early termination then I'm out!
