Data usage

I have noticed lately that I'm supposedly using more data then before. I have the 15 gig plan and only used maybe 9 or ten gigs of it and had to watch videos on YouTube just to use it up before my month was up.
Now I'm doing nothing different and I'm almost using 15 gigs in a little less then three weeks. My habits have not changed but I'm going through all that data more quickly, really?

If you're using an iPhone check under Wi-Fi settings. Make sure Wi-Fi assist is off.

I like you am tired of Verizon Wireless so ready to go prepaid. It's just a phone. I don't need $179 bill because I changed plans and they have to charge the prorated following month also. WTF.......

Wifi does switch off due to low signal it says but they have changed the software to drop off Wifi. We have both Ipods and android there all doing it so you eat up more data. These guys lost there net neutrality case and there punishing us as much as they can get away with. I hope someone finds the hack codes they have changed and take it to a lawyer for a class action that they get slapped again. We will never see a dime because judges never make a example of these guys. I thing CEOs should have Licenses like cars so they have something to loose for there cheating tactics.

The same thing has happened to my husband and me. We kept having to up our data plan, which is now at 20 gigs a month, but every single time we upped it, we somehow used it all up by the second week of the billing month. According to Verizon'scalculations, we use a gig a day. Neither one of us watch videos, stream anything, or download files. We live way out in the country without WiFi access and a lot of the time we can't even access the Internet. How in the hell can we be using a gig a day?! We're seeing an attorney next week to start a class action lawsuit.
