Their product sucks and they don't care

I switched to Verizon Quantum in April 2015 because I was having trouble with Fios and they gave me a great deal and promised it performs so much better. WRONG!!! Since switching to quantum, I have had a Verizon service person out to the house EVERY MONTH to try to fix various problems...unsuccessfully. They wanted to charge me for the visits and I told them if they charged me, they could pick up their equipment...it will be on the curb in front of my house. I often can't connect to the network even though all my neighbor's networks were accessible. One day I went to watch a show I had recorded and all my recordings were erased. I had set up a show to get recorded and it wasn't recorded. The system freezes often and needs to be rebooted. The response time reminds me of my cable service in the 1980's...I feel like I'm in a time warp. When I threaten to switch, they tell me I can't because I have a contract. I remind them that they are in breach of contract by not providing me the service I was promised and have been paying for...I am in the process of looking at my alternatives now. Their customer service people have have all attended training. They are proficient at saying "I'm sorry". 10 months of I'm sorry doesn't do much for me. If you have Fios and, for some reason, you don't want to kick Verizon to the curb, DON'T SWITCH to Quantum. If you don't have Verizon, STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
