Phone swap

I had just started my own business, and receiving calls was critical, but suddenly I was dropping calls constantly. Called Verizon, they sent out an engineer to check my local cell tower. I had to call them back to find results...."There is nothing wrong with your cell tower, but I live in a " Marginal Zone" I said, "did I always live in a marginal zone? I had no problems in the past years, just suddenly started happening. THere is more to this story, but to cut to the chase, they felt it my device and that I should send it to them and they would ship me a replacement. THe replacement still dropped calls and after about two-three months the problem went away. One year later, I had other issues with my I Phone so I went to my Apple store. After their technician looked at my phone, he told me there was nothing they could do because my phone was not an "Apple product". Go figure....I send Verizon my $600 Apple I phone and they send me a cheap knock off with generic parts. Makes me wonder if they resold mine and made a nice profit while paying them $350.00 a month in phone bills. Yes...they have the best coverage, but the second I know I can be covered by a different carrier in my area, I am so outta here!
