13 hour wait for No Show

I called Verizon one week ago to schedule a service appointment for a defective back up battery. They told me a tech would call sometime between 8:30am-5pm. As the day went on I received no calls. I myself called 6 times during the day and each time they ensured me that a tech would be at my house by 9 pm. They did not show. They have you by the balls and you can't do sh$t. Where else do you give a company over $400 per month and have a 13 hour window for service scheduled over a week in advance.

So sad! Did they also tell you you'd be paying for that battery replacement? They used to supply those, now you pay or buy your own! Do you really think Lowell McA. really gives 2 shits about our customers? Rule number one at our garage: GENERATE THAT BILL AND MOVE ON TO THE NEXT JOB. WE'LL DEAL WITH ANY INSTALL PROBLEMS LATER. GET THE ACTIVATION TO START CHARGING. That is verbatim from the managers. Think about it...

Couldn't have put it any better. They are cheap ass clowns and are just pissed off because they are actually having to work during this strike. I used to work for this company and know exactly what you're going through and I'm sorry you are having to deal with this. Most Representatives and field technicians are really good people and want to help the customer butt management ties hands and then on top of that they keep jacking the price of everything up every time you turn around. Pure greed and that stems from that asshat Lowell McAdams!! Hell, we all know he's trying to get rid of all landline services. Slowly but surely selling off all of the landline areas and they do not care about their customers at all. That butt munch is even looking into buying out Yahoo to yet ruin another company. If they do I feel sorry for the people that work for Yahoo. Watch, you will start to see States being sold off slowly but surely just like Florida Texas and California.
